As we wait for Jesus Christ second coming

Beloved I greet you in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. I have read several books from popular authors on the subject of Jesus second coming. Indeed many people are waiting for the second coming but why do we wait for the coming and ignore the Jesus Christ who already came as the Holy Spirit?

Read here:  1John 5:20 (NLT) “And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal

life.”

Instead of living in fellowship with the Spirit of Jesus who is already living in the church. We yearn for His second coming. I have noticed that many churches outrightly deny the Holy Spirit. No prophecies, visions, tongues or any manifestation of God are allowed in their congregation. Those who claim to have the Holy Spirit are treated as freaks of nature.

But church of God how long can we deny Christ?  Are we not in Him? Is He not living in us? When He returns will He take those who were ignoring Him this whole time? We have to realize that Jesus Christ is in us through the Holy Spirit.

Check with  John 14:20 (NIV): “On that

day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”

This is why the message of dominion through the Holy Spirit is not being preached. How can the church exercise any dominion without the enabling Spirit of God? Read here: Ephesians 2:6 (GNB) “In our union with Christ Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world.”

People of God, Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. He is living through His Church. Only the anti Christ Spirit who is already at work in the church denies this. Check with 1 John 4:2 (NKJV) “By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God”

Of course the world cannot see Him. The world denies Him. Those churches that deny the Holy Spirit are rich, they grow big fast and are well established. The devil sees to it that they lack nothing. There are some churches which do not have Christ at all. They neither seek Him or acknowledge Him. They openly deny the Holy Spirit.

Read here:  John 14:17 (NKJV) “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”

From now on focus more on doing exploits through the Holy Spirit who is already dwelling in us. Fellowship with Him and yearn for Him. Very few will witness the second coming but many of us stand a

chance of experiencing Jesus Christ, right here, right now!

I leave you to meditate on this beautiful scripture:  John 6:47 (NKJV) “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.”

All His enemies will be defeated

Beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ is working in us and through us to destroy all His enemies. Remember that Christ Jesus is our life and any war planned against us on direct collision course with Jesus.

Whatever conspiracy the enemy has against the church (you and me) will not work. Christ is working to destroy all our enemies. Satan’s kingdom is spread out throughout the earth but they will all be defeated. Read here:  1 Corinthians 15:24 (ERV) “Then the end will come. Christ will destroy all rulers, authorities, and powers. Then he will give the kingdom to God the Father.”

The rulers, authorities and powers are fallen angels. They operate in

families, churches and have put systems of operation in the world. They frustrate believers in different ways. Sicknesses, job cuts, marriage breakdowns may look ordinary but there is a devilish hand in the background.

The devil’s rule is subtle. Things look normal but there are not. Satan is constantly at war with us. But Christ’s rule ( through us daily) is aimed at destroying the devil. Check with 1 Corinthians 15:25 (ERV) “Christ must rule until God puts all enemies under his control.”

You must never underestimate what Christ Jesus achieved through the cross. He took away all the legal ground the devil had against us. Read here:  Hebrews 10:12 (GNB) “Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is

effective for ever, and then he sat down at the right-hand side of God.

With sin defeated, the office of accusations is paralyzed. All that guilt tripping is powerless. Christ has put all His enemies under His feet. Read here:  Hebrews 10:13 (GNB) ” There he now waits until God puts his enemies as a footstool under his feet.”

You must never think you are being fought alone. The whole Christian body is a target. Many of us struggle to do simple things in this world. The system is rigged against us. But through Jesus Christ we have victory. Yes even over death! Read here: 1 Corinthians 15:26(NKJV) “The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.”

The devil has many people under his

control who try to reverse Christ’s victory through the cross. They tell you that some demons need money to defeat them. You need to give to destroy altars. You need to seed into higher annointings to defeat demons. This are all lies. They are enemies of the cross. Some are even smuggling the law and various heresies to invalidate the cross.

Read here:Philippians 3:18 (NLT) “For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ.”

Never lose hold of the truth. We were saved from death to life. We are chosen to live as children of God. We are the physical manifestation of the glory of God. We rule over principalities, powers

and rulers of darkness. We are the right hand of the Father. All the enemies of the church will be completely destroyed through the work of Christ in us and through us.

I leave you to meditate on this wonderful scripture: Micah 5:9 (AMP) “Your hand will be lifted up above your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.”

In all thy ways acknowledge Him

People of God I greet you. It is so easy to ignore God at different times of the day every day. Especially when life is hard and nothing seems to work out. We ask ourselves if all the failure and disappointment in our lives is actually inspired by God’s absence when we need Him.  So we feel like He is an absentee father and we have been left alone.

But the truth is that God never leaves us. So we must constantly acknowledge Him. Read here: Proverbs 3:6  “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

God never leaves and we too can never go away from His presence. Check  Psalms139: 7-8,10

” Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.”

So whether you were pleasuring yourself in the bathroom, complaining about your work under the desk or yelling at motorists on your way to work, He was there. Not just as a spectator but actively present with a burning desire to lead you. (If you let Him).

Check Psalm 139:10 ” Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. “

The presence of God is not like that of big brother who watches your every move to monitor you and spy on you. (So that he

can note down all your naughty behavior for judgement day). Or a designated robot that helps you here and there (but is mostly broken). God is part of you, he aims to help you fulfill His divine purpose. He meets your (real needs not the imaginary ones planted into us by corporate consumerism).

He does all this so that the full nature of His Son can be formed in us. So that we can know (acknowledge) His great love which passes all understanding.

Read here: Ephesians 3:19 -20

” to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Acknowledge God at work, at school, in

your homes. Welcome His will, purposes and plans in your heart everyday.  It only then that you will see that inspite of what you are dealing in your life each day. God is able, willing and happy to rescue, love and guide us. Just like a Father does with His own children.

Read here: Ephesians 3: 20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…”

Have a blessed day.
